Study on forming performance of multi-pass pipe under hydraulic bulging environment

  • Hydraulic bulging of pipe is a plastic processing technology of special-shaped pipe billet, which has broad development prospect and application value in lightweight and integration. Widely used in automobile manufacturing, aerospace, medical equipment and other fields. In order to better understand the development status of hydraulic bulging technology of pipe, combined with the research progress at home and abroad, the forming performance of multi-way pipe under hydraulic bulging environment was systematically analyzed and summarized. Firstly, the evaluation parameters affecting the forming performance of multiway pipe were analyzed. Secondly, the forming process parameters which affect the forming properties were analyzed. Finally, the parameters affecting the forming performance of multi-pass pipe, such as branch height, internal pressure and axial feed, were summarized and analyzed, which can provide useful reference for the development of hydraulic bulging technology of multi-pass pipe.
