High-order statistics analysis of ballistocardiogram

In order to achieve non-contact and non sensory detection analysis of cardiac activity, the PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) piezoelectric film is used to develop a comprehensive acquisition device for the BCG signal, the pulse signal,and the ECG signal. It is proposed that the high order spectrum is used to analyze the BCG signal, and the phase information of BCG is retained. The pre-and post-motion signals of 21 healthy adults were collected and compared to evaluate the effectiveness of the algorithm. The results show that there is a significant difference in the high order statistical characteristics of the signal before and after the motion, and this method can distinguish BCG signals in different states.
