Dual-band polarization insensitive wave absorber based on metasurface

  • Aiming at the requirements of modern radar stealth technology for high absorption rate and multi-band characteristics of metasurface absorbers, a dual-band polarization-insensitive metasurface absorber was designed by using simple circular and triangular metal structures, and it can Better reduce the cross-sectional area of radar scattering. The absorbing frequency band and absorbing rate of the wave absorber are mainly determined by its geometric structure parameters, and the surface metal structure was cleverly designed to make it have two absorbing frequency bands. The CST software simulation results show that the absorption rate of the absorber is 98.1% at 10.11 GHz and 99.8% at 15.63 GHz. Because the unit structure is axisymmetric, the device is polarization insensitive. The structure of the metasurface is simple and compact, which meets the design requirements of radar stealth, and provides a new idea for the research and design of multi-band polarization-insensitive metasurface devices.
