Abstract
For a class of elliptic interface problems, a new virtual element method is used to solve these problems. Based on the characteristic that virtual element method is suitable for arbitrary polygon mesh, this method is applied to six different polygon meshes to solve a class of elliptic interface problems, and the calculation formula of virtual element method is given. Numerical results show that the virtual element method is effective for elliptic interface problems.
