Abstract:
The near-field beamforming of frequency diversity array (FDA) radar is studied. By analyzing the near-field pattern and distance loss compensation factor of frequency diversity array radar, the single base transceiver array model was established, the compensation weight of distance loss was derived, and two nonlinear frequency offsets were proposed to improve the performance of energy focusing. In addition, in order to make the beam pattern better, two kinds of nonlinear frequency offset are proposed, which are closer to a spot beam pattern to improve the energy focusing accuracy. Simulation results show that the proposed method can improve the resolution of range focusing, make the focusing energy reach a better resolution, and reduce energy waste.
