中国人口结构的模型分析及数据预测

Modeling analysis and data prediction of Chinese population structure

  • 摘要: 建立数学模型研究未来人口规模和年龄结构发展趋势是制定科学人口战略政策的重要手段。本文基于中国1990—2020年人口普查和统计年鉴数据,利用时间序列模型预测各年龄段生育率和死亡率数据,构建分年龄人口模型预测中国2021—2070年的人口规模、年龄结构和老龄化的变化趋势,并计算每年的平均年龄和平均寿命。研究发现,在2021年至2070年期间,生育年龄缓慢后移,平均生育率和新生儿总量分别由8.58‰、1200万降至6‰、600万;总人口规模在2026年迎来峰值14.24亿人,此后逐年递减,2070年降至10.13亿人;0~14岁和60岁以上人口占比分别由18.96%和18.79%变化为10.12%和41.05%,而80岁以上老人在老年人口中的占比由13.76%上升至34.03%;同时未来50年平均年龄和预期寿命总体呈抛物线上升趋势,分别从39岁和79岁上升到51岁和85岁。结果表明,中国未来新生儿数和总人口数呈递减趋势,人口年龄结构两极分化,老龄化程度急剧加深,且高龄化趋势明显。

     

    Abstract: Mathematical modeling is an important approach for investigating future trends in population size and age structure and for supporting evidence-based population policies. Based on data from China's national censuses and statistical yearbooks from 1990 to 2020, a time-series model is employed to estimate age-specific fertility and mortality rates. Subsequently, an age-structured population model is developed to project future trends in population size, age structure, and population ageing from 2021 to 2070. The average age and life expectancy are also calculated. The results indicate that the average childbearing age is projected to increase gradually, while the crude birth rate declines from 8.58‰ to 6‰ and the annual number of newborns decreases from 12 million to 6 million. The total population is projected to peak at 1.424 billion in 2026 and then decline to 1.013 billion by 2070. The proportions of children (0-14 years) and the elderly (≥60 years) are projected to change from 18.96% and 18.79% to 10.12% and 41.05%, respectively, while the proportion of the oldest-old population (aged ≥80 years) is expected to increase from 13.76% to 34.03% within the elderly population. Additionally, both the average age and life expectancy show an upward trend over the next 50 years, rising from 39 and 79 years to 51 and 85 years, respectively. These findings suggest a continuing decline in births and total population, a polarized age structure, and an accelerated process of population ageing.
